Principal Attorney

Lauren attended college at Arizona State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2004 with a degree in Political Science, History, and Communications.  It was while she attended ASU that Lauren worked as a Realtor and identified her love of all things real estate, contracts, and negotiations.  After surviving a horrific car accident and learning to walk again, Lauren began law school at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas only eight days after completing her MBA.  She graduated in 2011 and moved to Dallas for her job as a contracts negotiator for At&t.  Lauren was licensed to practice law in November off 2011.
From 2011 until 2016 Lauren worked at AT&t first as a senior contracts manager, negotiating agreements for the corporation, then in the leadership development program, and finally as an area manager in Methods and Procedures. Lauren left to develop her own firm, emphasizing help for those who have gone without access to legal counsel in August of 2016 and has not looked back.
Cadilac Law had humble beginnings- starting in Lauren’s home and, within months, to a small office in the Elmwood neighborhood in Oak Cliff. As the business has grown older it has also grown larger. Cadilac law has been located at 5787 S Hampton in suite 445 for nearly a year. Currently Cadilac Law has four employees, aside from Lauren:  Crystal Ibe- Associate Attorney, Jamesha Owens- Paralegal, Kay Olds- Bookkeeper, and Eva Zuniga- Receptionist/Legal Assistant. Cadilac Law offers services for small businesses, including contracts, business formation, strategic planning, bookkeeping, mechanic’s liens, audit representation, and more.  For families, Cadilac Law offers estate planning including trusts, probate, deeds, deed disputes, contract disputes, general representation and more.
Over the last three years of growth and development, one thing has not changed: Lauren’s commitment to the under-served.  Most recently, Cadilac Law was awarded a contract with the City of Dallas to spearhead a pilot program to help clear cloudy title in disadvantaged Dallas neighborhoods.
The contract with the City of Dallas is just the beginning.  Cadilac Law has partnered with Miller title to offer title insurance services and has expanded its litigation arm with Associate Attorney Ibe’s leadership. Cadilac Law has offered seminars for over a year and will be expanding those offerings in 2020 to groups like doctors and employers, and the VA.  It is our goal to be known as the attorney to go to regarding real estate related issues in the DFW area, eventually expanding across the State of Texas, and where possible, the United States.
